As a Senior Manager in Supply Chain Optimisation & Resilience, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of digital transformation, with a particular focus on sustainable and resilient supply chains. You will work closely with clients across a range of industries, supporting them to leverage data and technology to design and build supply chain solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Working with collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams of Deloitte practitioners, you will play a key role across all phases of the project lifecycle, from early conversations with clients shaping opportunities and understanding their challenges, to scoping projects and defining solutions, to leading critical aspects of delivery.

As a Senior Manager in Supply Chain Optimisation and Resilience, you will be responsible for:
-
Leading the design and delivery of complex supply chain optimisation and resilience engagements, owning outcomes across problem definition, solution design, implementation and value realisation, in line with agreed commercial, risk and quality objectives.

Architecting and overseeing AI and data driven supply chain solutions, including demand forecasting, optimisation, scenario modelling, risk sensing and decision intelligence, ensuring analytical rigour, practical applicability and scalable implementation.

Translating client business challenges into end-to-end data and technology solutions, defining target state processes, data requirements, analytics approaches, system integrations and operating model implications, and guiding teams through build and deployment.

Leading delivery of supply chain transformation programmes, combining functional expertise (planning, inventory, logistics, sourcing, network design) with technology enablement (ERP, APS, control towers, analytics platforms) to improve performance, resilience and speed of decision making.

Embedding resilience and risk considerations into supply chain design and operations, including multi-tier visibility, disruption scenario planning, stress testing, early warning indicators and executable response playbooks.

Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, influencing decision making at executive and functional leadership level, clearly articulating trade-offs between cost, service, resilience, sustainability and risk using data backed insights.

Leading and developing high performing, multidisciplinary teams, setting direction, coaching colleagues across analytics, engineering and supply chain domains, and role modelling Deloitte’s expectations on inclusion, collaboration and technical excellence.

Ensuring delivery excellence, governance and risk management, including programme management, data and model governance, ethical use of AI, documentation and adherence to Deloitte quality, independence and security standards.

Driving growth of the Supply Chain Optimisation and Resilience capability, contributing to proposition development, business development and client relationship building, and creating reusable assets, accelerators and thought leadership in AI enabled supply chains.

Candidates will typically demonstrate most of the following:

Experience delivering technology enabled supply chain optimisation and resilience initiatives, with hands on involvement across both solution design and implementation in complex organisational environments.
-
Strong technical grounding in data driven supply chain decision making, including analytics, optimisation and scenario modelling used to improve cost, service, resilience and sustainability outcomes in tandem.
-
Practical experience with leading supply chain planning, sustainability and optimisation platforms, such as SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SDX, Osapiens, Oracle SCM Cloud, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Blue Yonder or o9 Solutions.
-
Experience implementing supply chain visibility, control tower or decision intelligence solutions, integrating planning, execution and external data to support scenario analysis, exception management and disruption response.
-
Exposure to third party and supplier risk management solutions, such as SAP Ariba Supplier Risk, Coupa, Interos, Resilience, Everstream or Prewave, and applying risk insights into sourcing, planning and operational decisions.
-
Clear understanding of the interdependencies between supply chain optimisation, resilience and sustainability, including how network design, inventory strategy, sourcing choices and logistics decisions influence emissions, resource efficiency and long-term risk.

Knowledge of one or more sustainability reporting frameworks or regulations (e.g., CSRD, ESPR, EU Taxonomy, Science-based Targets Initiative, CBAM, EUDR).
-
Working knowledge of modern data and analytics architectures, including cloud-based platforms, data integration patterns, master data considerations and analytics tooling used in enterprise transformations.
-
Ability to bridge functional, technical and data perspectives, translating business objectives into analytics and technology requirements and explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
-
Experience supporting senior stakeholder decision making, contributing structured, data backed insight to investment cases, roadmaps and trade off discussions.

Ability to travel internationally and stay away from home for up to 5 days each week for specific durations, based on programme needs.
