- Assist with daily routines (mealtimes, toileting, naps).
- Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning activities.
- Ensure safeguarding and well being at all times.
Learning & Play Support
- Help set up and tidy away resources, toys, and creative materials.
- Encourage participation in group activities, crafts, and outdoor play.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and language development.
Environment & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Report concerns promptly to the Room Leader.
Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with staff to deliver the daily plan.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Care and Education
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
- Or an equivalent qualification
If you do not currently hold one of these qualifications, we will provide training and support to help you achieve it.
Ability to work as part of a team and also use initiative
Good communication skills,
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Previous experience working in childcare or educational settings is a plus but not required.
