Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent service to guests in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and drink, a welcoming attitude, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Take orders accurately and handle transactions using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, counters, and service stations
- Replenish stock levels of food, beverages, and utensils throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
- Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other hot drinks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Assist in setting up event catering or special functions as needed
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation skills
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service excellence
- Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to prepare quality hot drinks
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Organised with good attention to detail to ensure high standards of service are maintained

Pay: £8.18-£13.00 per hour
