bean coffee is an exciting new independent, locally owned coffee house opening soon in Lurgan, created to bring great drinks, warm service and real community impact together under one roof.

Guided by its tagline, coffee with purpose, bean will donate 10p from every drink sold to local causes, ensuring that every cup makes a difference. Alongside quality coffee, customers can enjoy matcha, infusion drinks and a tempting selection of tray bakes, making bean a vibrant new addition to the local community.
Job Summary
Aged 21+ - £13.50 per hour (Barista experience is required, otherwise application will be declined)
Aged 18-20 - £10.85 per hour
We are looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic full-time team member who enjoys working with people and take pride in delivering great customer service. The ideal candidate will be flexible and available to work within our core hours of 7.30am to 7pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm on a Saturday and Sunday. 40 hour contract with the expectation that shifts will vary to suit the needs of the business, albeit advance rota management will apply to ensure a work, life balance . Overtime will be offered on occasions at normal rate unless agreed otherwise. We welcome applicants who have previous and recent barista experience with a premium hourly rate being paid for this. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
- Ensure health & safety including food hygiene standards are adhered to
- Serve customers using EPOS till
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience with serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during shifts
- Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
