Full job description

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Tool Setter to join our growing team within the manufacturing sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long-term career in engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Tool Setters, gaining hands-on experience through a structured programme of both internal and external training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Shadow and support skilled Tool Setters in day-to-day operations

- Learn to set, maintain, and optimise tooling equipment

- Assist in ensuring production efficiency and quality standards are met

- Develop technical and mechanical skills through practical experience

Candidate Requirements:

- A strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

- Positive attitude with a proactive and driven approach

- Ability to work well within a team environment

- An engineering qualification is desirable but not essential

Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (during training period)

Hourly rate (to be discussed based on experience)
