Full job description

Reporting to: Metal Workshop Manager

Location: Ashford

Hours: 8am – 5.30pm - Mon-Fri, plus overtime (if required)

Holiday entitlement: Up to 27 days per year, plus bank holidays

Overview of role

As a CNC Operator, you will work to defined quality standards while adhering to all safety procedures. You will be a motivated team player with a flexible approach to work and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Program CNC machinery in line with production requirements
Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with housekeeping standards
Work effectively as part of the workshop team to meet daily targets

What we are looking for:

Previous CNC programming experience is essential
Experience with Fanuc CNC systems
A sound understanding of health and safety practices
Strong communication skills
Computer literate, with the ability to operate machinery using touch screen interfaces
A flexible and proactive approach to work as this role will also require some setting
