Registered Manager

POST TITLE:

Registered Manager

RESPONSIBLE TO:

Responsible Individual and Company Directors.

LIAISON WITH:

Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, residential staff, on-site school staff including Headteacher, and external stakeholders.

Pay Scale:

Salary: £70,000+ + bonuses (non-contractual).

Sleep In Rate: £75 per night.

On Call Rate: £20 per day.

Monthly Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week.

Annual leave: 35 days per year inclusive of bank holidays.

Main Purpose of the Job:

To manage the day to day running of Bradbury House, a new children’s home in development, supporting children with Learning Disabilities. The role includes leading the Ofsted registration process, establishing the culture and ethos of the home, and safely growing the service from an initial opening of 2 children to a larger provision (up to 16 children, subject to change).

Service Development Responsibilities:

Lead the set-up and registration of the home with Ofsted. Establish systems, policies, and a strong child-centred culture. Oversee phased growth of the home ensuring quality and safety.

Staffing and Leadership:

Recruit and develop a high-quality staff team. Establish a clear management structure including multiple Deputy Managers and potential Care Manager role as the home grows. Maintain strong leadership, accountability, and communication across a large team.

Specialist Care:

Ensure high-quality care tailored to children with Learning Disabilities. Experience in this area is essential.

Education Partnership:

Work alongside the on-site school and Headteacher to ensure a collaborative approach between education and care.

Safeguarding:

Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and ensure full compliance with all legislation and safeguarding practices.

General:

Undertake all duties in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and support the ongoing development of the service.

Pay: £64,999.99-£70,000.00 per year
