Blossomfield Mortgages are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Mortgage Adviser to join our growing business.
Blossomfield Mortgages work in partnership with Alderwood Estate Agents, and the successful candidate will be based within the Alderwood Estate Agents office in Solihull.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in mortgages, financial services and property. You will gain hands-on experience in a busy estate agency environment while learning how the mortgage process works from initial enquiry through to completion.
As part of the apprenticeship, the successful candidate will work towards becoming fully CeMAP qualified. By the end of the qualification, the candidate should have completed CeMAP 1, CeMAP 2 and CeMAP 3, giving them the required qualification route to progress towards becoming a Mortgage Adviser.
For the right person, there may be the opportunity to progress into a permanent Mortgage Adviser role with Blossomfield Mortgages, subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship, performance and achieving the required qualifications.
What you will be doing
Your role will include:
- Supporting the mortgage adviser with client enquiries
- Helping prepare mortgage cases and client documents
- Speaking with clients, lenders, solicitors and estate agency customers
- Booking appointments and following up with clients
- Learning about the mortgage process from initial enquiry to completion
- Assisting with mortgage administration and case tracking
- Helping clients understand what information and documents are required
- Supporting the estate agency team where needed
- Learning how property sales, lettings and mortgages work together
- Helping with general office administration
- Updating systems and keeping client records organised
- Providing a professional service to clients
Full training will be provided.

No previous mortgage experience is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn is essential.

Career progression
This apprenticeship is designed to give you a strong foundation in the mortgage and property industry.

For the right person, there may be the opportunity to progress into a permanent Mortgage Adviser position with Blossomfield Mortgages once the apprenticeship has been completed and the candidate has achieved CeMAP 1, 2 and 3.

Hours
37.5 hours per week.
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
Occasional Saturday work may be required, with time off in lieu during the week.
Salary
From £8.00 per hour, in line with the National Minimum Wage for apprentices.
Pay may increase depending on age, experience, performance and progression.
