Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our hospitality operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the café, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and operational excellence. Your leadership will inspire teams, streamline processes, and foster a vibrant, welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to make a significant impact within a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver outstanding customer service, and uphold company standards.
Oversee daily hospitality operations, including inventory management, and administrative functions to ensure smooth workflow.
Develop and implement strategic plans to boost performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase overall profitability.
Supervise team members’ performance through coaching, training, and regular feedback sessions to foster professional growth.
Maintain optimal presentation by managing visual merchandising standards and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Manage staffing schedules, recruitment efforts, and employee relations to build a cohesive and high-performing team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements at all times.

Skills

Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising teams within hospitality environments.
Proven, hands-on experience in both high-volume specialty coffee (barista skills) and busy bar service (cocktail making and alcohol serving).
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop staff for peak performance.
Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with customers, employees, and upper management.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple priorities.
Experience in merchandising strategies that attract customers and promote product visibility.
Solid administrative skills including record keeping, reporting, and operational documentation.
Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional interpersonal skills for engaging customer interactions.
