Full job description

About the Role:
We are looking for a Management Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting and day-to-day financial control. You will turn financial information into clear reports that help management understand performance, control costs and make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Monitor budgets, expenditure and financial performance.
Analyse variances and investigate differences between actual and budgeted results.
Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
Support month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
Prepare cash-flow forecasts and assist with financial planning.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with VAT, tax and statutory reporting requirements.
Provide financial information and analysis to management.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
Work closely with operational teams to monitor costs and business performance.

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in accounting, finance or management accounting.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification is advantageous.

Pay: £3,500.00-£3,700.00 per month
