Job Summary:
We are looking for a Multi-Trade Engineer based in Bournemouth the area to join our Operations Response team and carry out commercial maintenance. Covering sites across Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton, Dorchester, Salisbury and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs to commercial properties including but not limited to fixing a leaking tap, replacing sockets, changing a door handle and hanging new doors. The team also carry out external repairs including fencing and groundworks. This role will include lone and team working and you will also be required to be on call 1 in 4. A company van will be provided for business use.
Responsibilities:
- Attending commercial properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
- Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
- Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking these when needed.
- Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
- Providing out of hours cover via a call out rota
Skills:
- City & Guilds qualification, NVQ or relevant experience in relevant trades
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Multi-Trade Engineer
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role within commercial maintenance is advantageous
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Additional skills in some of the following disciplines – plumbing, carpentry and plastering would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of the health and safety regulations
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving license

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
