Corintech is a renowned leader in providing bespoke design and manufacturing services to other high-tech sectors and market-leading companies. With over 40 years of expertise, we operate from our UK headquarters in the scenic New Forest and maintain strong procurement and manufacturing ties in the Far East. Combining hands-on UK engineering with global supply chains, we deliver agile, cost-effective solutions across the aerospace, medical and industrial sectors.

We’re seeking a proactive, Buyer to join our Purchasing Team. This role involves supporting sales through accurate job estimating, procurement, Based in Fordingbridge, you’ll report directly to the Purchasing Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts across our supply chain.

Key duties

· Support negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms

· Raise purchase orders and manage delivery schedules to meet production plans

· Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages or delays

· Order Management: Place and schedule parts in line with MRP requirements

· MRP Accuracy: Ensure the MRP system accurately reflects stock dates, locations, and quantities.

Role Requirements

· Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail

· Strong commitment to achieving deadlines

· Strong maths and IT skills with the ability to use daily World, Excel, MRP

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams

Benefits

· Competitive salary: Up to £30k, depending on skills and experience

· Working hours : 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times.

· Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing annually to a maximum of 30 days

· Enjoy a one month paid sabbatical after 6 years of service

· Contributory pension scheme

· Free onsite parking

We provide full training on our technical processes, so while experience within a similar industry is a bonus, a great attitude and a sharp mind are more important.
