We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented, and highly organised Senior Housekeeper to join our team. This role involves independent travel between properties, ensuring they are presented to the highest standard for guest arrivals.
The Role
Travel across our full service area is essential. Our homes are located throughout Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Bristol, and surrounding areas. Candidates must be comfortable and willing to drive longer distances and plan their own travel between properties. You must have a valid driving license and your own vehicle.
As Senior Housekeeper, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing hands-on housekeeping support by covering unassigned cleans, as well as holiday and sick leave.
- Managing property presentation by deep cleaning and staging new homes before professional photography and guest arrivals.
- Ensuring quality control by inspecting housekeeping standards across the portfolio, documenting cleanliness, property condition, and overall maintenance.
- Training and mentoring housekeepers, helping them maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the year.
- Recruitment for new housekeepers, helping with trial cleans, training and running DBS checks.
- Laundering cover-clean linens, including washing, ironing, and returning them as needed.
- 25-35 hours per week covering weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
- You’ll be joining a small, experienced housekeeping team, so we’re looking for someone who is collaborative, dependable, and enjoys working closely with others to maintain exceptionally high standards.
- Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is important, including being able to adapt to changing schedules and occasionally assist with urgent or emergency situations where needed.

- Location – ideally based within the Southern Cotswolds near Tetbury, Malmsbury, South Gloucestershire with easy access to Bristol, Somerset and Bath
- Experienced – ideally within the holiday let, hospitality, or property management sector.
- Meticulous – with an exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Organised & proactive – able to prioritise tasks efficiently and work independently.
- Flexible & adaptable – changeovers can happen on any day of the week, including weekends. You’ll have visibility of bookings to help plan your schedule.
- A strong communicator – comfortable giving constructive feedback and guiding other housekeepers.
- Reliable & responsible – ensuring our homes are always guest-ready and maintained to perfection.
- Tech-savvy – confident using mobile apps and online systems as part of your daily workflow.
- Comfortable with travel – happy to drive to different locations within our broad service area on a regular basis.
What We Offer
- Pay: £25 per hour, or if covering a regular changeover the full cost of that changeover.
- Mileage: £0.45 per mile can be expensed.
- Hours: 25-35 hours per week
- Supplies Provided: All cleaning supplies and equipment are provided.
- Variety & Autonomy: No two days are the same. You’ll work in a variety of beautiful homes across the countryside and towns.
