As a Motorsport Events Planner, you will be responsible for planning, providing administrative support, coordination and assisting in the delivery of all motorsport events for Porsche Cars GB alongside the Head of Motorsport.
N.B. This role requires travel in the UK and working at weekends.
Please note this position is a 10 month maternity cover fixed term contract through our sole supplier; Dekra.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support of Head of Motorsport in all motorsport event delivery aspects, including, but not limited to:
- Full logistics and event delivery for Championship Launch, Testing, Race Weekends,
- End of Season Awards, Junior Shootout and Taster Days
- Procurement of event suppliers
- Supervision of on-site event team
- Prepare all pre-event Championship Bulletins, working documents, sign-on sheets and information screens
- Process all hospitality requirements and oversee all guest management
- Ensure compliance with the supporting official motorsport bodies of the programme, i.e. TOCA, MSA and BARC

Supporting the Motorsport Assistant in the delivery of the Porsche Centre Hospitality Programme

Supporting the Motorsport Assistant in developing the commercial relationship between Porsche Motorsport and Porsche Centres.

Working alongside all PCGB and PRG departments to ensure consistent and coordinated approach to all motorsport events

Generating ideas for brand presence at motorsport events

Negotiating contracts and fees, with the support of the necessary departments

Take ownership for personal development needs in anticipation of Business requirements.
Core Accountabilities:

Assistance on motorsport events budget target

Porsche Motorsport event delivery with appropriate Porsche brand presence

Deliver an agreed level of service to the Internal and External Customer and External Suppliers, in line with the Company Values

Lead and motivate motorsport event teams during event delivery where appropriate

To keep regularly updated on up and coming National Events

Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Travel is necessary throughout the motorsport season - March to October.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
A Level education with experience in planning Events and working in the Hospitality sector
Desirable Attributes:

Experience in Hospitality, Events or live Event operations

Strong communication skills and experienced in managing multiple projects
Knowledge of Motorsport
