Workshop Operatives; Concrete products labourer / mixer operator
- Concrete products mixer operator .
Role mainly entails operation concrete mixer to produce consistent quality concrete batches and daily cleaning and maintenance / greasing of concrete mixer, making and recording daily test cube. General labouring and housekeeping also involved. In house training on mixer operation and cleaning will be provided. One positions available
Role would suit someone with previous experience of concrete mixing and manual handling training. CSCS card and dumper certification would be beneficial..
Full on the job training by colleagues will be provided. Plant certs for dumper driving would advantageous, training can be provided.
Enthusiasm, willingness to learn new skills, organised, conscientious, punctuality and reliability alongside being able to work as part of a small team are musts for this job.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, immediate start
Wage: £13.41 per hour basic rate, dependant on age, OT x1.5. Graded accrual to full bonus over TBC months, rate £1.57 per hour on all hours worked. 39 hour working week.
Regular Working Hours: 07:00 to 15:15 Mon to Thur (14.15 finish Fri), OT as required. Wages paid weekly, Fridays.
