About the Role

We’re a growing water and drainage services company based in the Scottish Borders, delivering reliable, high‑quality services to domestic, commercial and utility clients. As our workload continues to expand, we’re looking for a hands‑on Operations Manager who can lead our teams, strengthen our processes and help shape the next stage of our development.

This is a key role with real influence, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving systems and supporting people to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities

Manage operatives and supervisors across water and drainage works
Oversee day-to-day site operations and programmes
Use management software to track labour, plant and performance
Control budgets, costs and productivity
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
Maintain compliance with permits, RAMS and utility provider requirements
Liaise with clients, water companies and subcontractors

Preferred Requirements

Proven experience in water and drainage or utilities operations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good commercial and budget control awareness
Solid knowledge of health & safety and utilities compliance
Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities
