Contract Trainer – Complex Care Training (Ad-Hoc, South East England)

Location: Travel to client sites across the South East of England (own transport required)
About Us
Take2Life is a case management and training company delivering clinician-led, practical training to support workers, nurses, team leaders, and families involved in complex community care. Our sessions are hands-on, tailored to each client's needs, and delivered either face-to-face or remotely.
The Role
We're looking for a contract trainer to join our team on an ad-hoc basis, delivering high-quality training sessions to our clients across the South East. You'll need a medical/healthcare background and the confidence to cover most of the courses in our training programme, including, but not limited to:
Clinical Courses:
- Medication Administration
- Epilepsy Awareness & Rescue Medication
- Enteral Feeding (Gastrostomy)
- Suctioning (Nasopharyngeal & Oropharyngeal)
- Use of Oxygen
- Respiratory Physiotherapy
- Ventilator Management
Non-Clinical Courses:
- Mental Capacity Act
- Team Leader (supervision, appraisals, change management)
- Support Work (Good Practice)
- Child Development & Importance of Play
Sessions vary in length and format — from focused 2-hour topics through to half-day and full-day packages, delivered either in person at a client's location or remotely.
Essential Requirements
- A professional healthcare qualification (e.g. nursing, paramedic, or similar)
- A minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Registered with a relevant professional or regulatory body (please state which — e.g. NMC, HCPC, or equivalent)
- Confident delivering practical, interactive training to adult learners
- Comfortable covering the majority of the course list above, or a strong willingness to expand into new topics
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Willingness to hold (or take out) professional indemnity and public liability insurance
Desirable
- A formal teaching qualification (e.g. AET Level 3) or equivalent experience
- Previous experience delivering training in a care, case management, or clinical education setting
- Own laptop with Microsoft Office
