Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to elevate our culinary offerings with exquisite baked goods and desserts. Responsibilities

Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods with attention to detail and consistency
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings that excite our guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station in compliance with food safety standards
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation
Follow all food preparation procedures to uphold quality standards and minimize waste
Assist in training junior kitchen staff on baking techniques and safety protocols
Ensure timely delivery of all baked items to meet service demands while maintaining freshness

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
Hands-on experience with culinary equipment used in baking and pastry making
Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating visually appealing desserts
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with a demonstrated commitment to culinary excellence

Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
