Bewdley Dental Practice & Implant Centre based in West Midlands/Worcestershire

Bewdley, Worcestershire, 40mins from Bham

£15 per UDA/ 60% split of private in favour of associate

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join our well
established, forward thinking practice based in a lovely historic, Tudor
building, in the riverside town of Bewdley.
We are looking for a caring, ethical dentist with a good sense of humour
(crucial to get the job) to join our mixed NHS/Private 8 surgery dental
practice.
There is large private potential as Bewdley and surrounding areas are
very affluent as can be seen by the amount of private all the dentists
do, with most earning more privately than on NHS
We have 11 fully qualified dental nurses who are qualified to take
x-rays and impressions (they take all my bite wings and dental
impressions.)
We have an ortho treatment coordinator who takes the Itero scans on all
our Invisalign patients.
My implant coordinator and another 3 nurses are also qualified
to take CBCTs and many of the nurses can take OPGs as well.
We strongly believe in the importance of oral hygiene as it allows us
dentists to concentrate on restorative work and as such we have a
two hygienist every day.
We are fully computerised with SOE, Clinipads, Digital x-rays, 5 wave
one systems (used on all patients NHS and private with no charge to
associates), Aquacare, Pentamix, electric handpieces, all the best
materials like rely x, fugi, panavia etc...
We have invested in intra-oral scanners, Carestream cs3700, Wireles Medit and an iTero (for Invisalign), milling machine, 3d printer and a CBCT scanner, so you
will be involved with the joys and headaches of the digital world!

We have a large common room with a fully fitted kitchen which we can use
to try and make edible food or the safer option is to get some food in!

We provide all types of dentistry ourselves such as implants, cosmetic
smile makeovers, Fastbraces, Invisalign ( we have 7 dentists who
provide this), and facial aesthetics i.e we are lucky to do the
dentistry we want to do. A sample of the work we provide can be found on
our website and socials- simply search for Bewdley Dental Practice on facebook or insta.
There is a very strict practice policy with poor attending patients and
hence we are fortunate to get very few ftas!
As one of the principle dentists I am present 4 days a week at the
practice and have an open door policy with all my dentists for
mentoring/ clinical support or just an excuse for a chat over tea and
biscuits.
Also to mention that I am an implant tutor at Dentale and mentor all new
dentists at the practices in implants for no extra charge.
There are four other experienced clinicians who can assist and offer
advice if I'm not available or another surgery to get away from your
four walled prison cell!
We also actively organise in house training and have recently had an
inhouse anterior/posterior composite course by Ian Cline and he has
previously provided an inhouse photography and prep course.

My final word would be that it is a great place to progress ones career
in a relaxed caring environment but still striving to provide the
advanced dentistry you want to do.
