Full job description

We are seeking a highly organised Document Controller to join our Honeywell team in Eastbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of documents between the customer and HMD. This is a full time onsite position.

Key skills and qualifications

Previous document control experience within Engineering or Manufacturing is desirable
Able to manage own workload within the confines of the project schedule
Able to discuss and resolve risks and opportunities directly with the customer
Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages including Excel, Word and PDF editor.
Highly organised and able to work under minimal supervision, capable of working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus

Key Responsibilities

To manage the creation, storage, submission and approval of internally generated and subcontractor’s documents and procedures as per contractual requirements
Actively supports the Project Manager to achieve a successful completion of the project
Manage all project documentation generated by internal departments and sub-contractors
Create and revise as required project documentation for customer approval
Perform quality control checks to ensure company generated documents comply with company and client document management system
