We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Full TIme Coffee Shop Assistant at our busy café in Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, Hastings. Full availability is required for this role.
As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of delicious coffee beverages and light snacks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons.
Key responsibilities:
- Greeting customers with a warm smile and friendly attitude
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages
- Operating coffee machines and other equipment in a safe manner
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced cash register
- Keeping the café clean and organized at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
