We are a special school for pupils with Autism, Communication and Associated Learning Difficulties.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Administrative Assistant to support the effective coordination of Special Educational Needs provision. The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and strong organisational skills, ensuring that all administrative processes are carried out efficiently and sensitively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating clearly and professionally with pupils, parents/carers, staff, and external agencies
- Maintaining accurate, well-presented records and documentation
- Supporting the administration of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring compliance with procedures and timelines
- Taking clear, concise notes during meetings (e.g. annual reviews and multi-agency meetings)
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of meetings, reports, and documentation
Ensuring all paperwork is completed to a high standard and stored securely in line with data protection requirements
