About us

Stevens Tobaccos is a small retail business in Bexhill-On-Sea. Our goal is to provide an excellent range of tobacco and vape products and assist customers in a professional manner.

The role is predominantly based on the vape side of the business so, experience of vaping and the industry is favourable. The role may involve helping on the tobacco side during busy periods too so, being able to learn a large catalogue of products is essential.

The position is for Saturdays between the hours of 09:00-16:30, with a 30 minute un-paid lunch break. More hours may become available in future as the business grows. At current, this position is temporary, lasting for the course of 1 Year, with a 3 month probationary period.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with their inquiries and provide excellent customer service
Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Assist in inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and goals

Skills:

Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Basic understanding of retail math, including calculating discounts and sales totals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Flexibility to work weekdays as required
