Full job description

This is not a traditional internship.

You will work directly with company leadership on client acquisition, market expansion, and commercial strategy. From day one, you will take ownership of real commercial activity that contributes directly to revenue growth.

About welocity:

Welocity is an AI-native talent delivery platform helping startups, scale-ups, and enterprise organisations hire exceptional technology talent across the UK and Europe.

We are building a high-performance commercial team in London and are looking for ambitious graduates to join us as Business Development Interns.

What you'll be doing:

Identify and engage prospective clients across the UK and European markets
Conduct structured outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and direct messaging
Build and manage high-quality commercial pipelines
Arrange meetings with founders, senior executives, and decision-makers
Support client acquisition and partnership development initiatives
Prepare commercial presentations, proposals, and market insights
Work closely with leadership on growth experiments and expansion strategy
Maintain CRM systems and track pipeline performance

Who we are looking for:

Final-year students or recent graduates only (no prior full-time experience required)
Strong academic background from a reputable university or business school
Demonstrated interest in business, entrepreneurship, economics, or commercial strategy
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
Must already have the right to work in the UK or Europe (no visa sponsorship available)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability startup environment
Ambitious, resilient, and eager to take ownership from day one

Stipend: £700 – £1,200 per month
