We are looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and yard operations in Milton Keynes. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Operations Director and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced and growing business.
The Role
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the IPS warehouse and yard operation. You will ensure all rental equipment is accurately managed, maintained, prepared, dispatched, and returned to the highest standards.
You will lead warehouse and yard personnel, oversee inventory control, coordinate equipment logistics, maintain health and safety compliance, and support the successful delivery of projects across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the warehouse and yard facilities.
- Oversee equipment preparation, dispatch, returns, storage, and stock control.
- Ensure all equipment is accurately logged, maintained, inspected, and presented to a high standard.
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse and yard teams.
- Coordinate equipment and vehicle movements to support operational requirements.
- Monitor productivity and ensure operational deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Investigate and report missing, damaged, or discrepant equipment in line with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Transport Teams, and other operational departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience within the events, production, rental, or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Strong inventory control and stock management experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good IT skills and experience using inventory or rental management systems.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and Health & Safety requirements.
Desirable
- Forklift qualification.
- First Aid certification.
- Additional operational or logistics qualifications.

Working Hours
