Brief overview of the role:
OX26 6JJ We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required:
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Personal Qualities:
Patience, Non judgemental, Team working

Desired skills:
Communication skills, Organisation skills

Training to be provided:
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects:
This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - Bicester

You will work with the pharmacy team, helping and serving customers, giving appropriate advice on products, ensuring shelves are stocked and the counters is welcoming and attractive.

Duties will include:

Understanding what the Superdrug Pharmacy customer wants
Demonstrating exceptional customer service
Understanding the business and maintaining the brand reputation
Resolving customer queries
Using knowledge to promote products to customers
Adhering to all policies and procedures

Your training will take place in store, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period you will complete a discussion around your experiences, a multiple - choice test and an observation within your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your assessor to achieve your Retail level 2 Apprenticeship.
