Overview:

We are looking for an Automotive Embedded Basic Software (BSW) Engineer to drive forward the Automotive sector with Electrical and Embedded Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the projects that you work on whilst helping Expleo to grow the automotive sector within Electrical and Embedded Systems domain.

Responsibilities:

Define, design and implement am embedded AUTOSAR Classic platform.
Develop and configure AUTOSAR Classic basic software.
Develop complex device drivers.
Integrate third-party basic software components such as the MCAL.
Implement and configure AUTOSAR BSW communication stack, including CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, etc.

Qualifications:

Engineering Degree in applicable discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering.

Essential skills:

Strong programming skills with demonstrable proficiency in programming languages, especially embedded C.
Problem-solving and debugging skills: Ability to identify and fix software bugs.

Desired skills:

AUTOSAR Classic BSW health and fault management
AUTOSAR Classic BSW time sync
AUTOSAR Classic BSW cybersecurity

Experience:

Experienced in developing and integrating AUTOSAR Basic Software with thorough understanding of the AUTOSAR Classic architecture and software stacks.
Experience of working on Safety Critical Software projects with familiarity of safety standards (ISO 26262) and coding guidelines (MIRSA C).
Experience of software development and test within an automotive project environment.
