Full Time - 8am -5.30pm Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
Purpose of the Role
The International Operations Coordinator provides operational and administrative support to the International Commercial Team, ensuring customer enquiries, quotations, orders and logistics are processed efficiently and accurately.
The role plays a key part in delivering an excellent customer experience by supporting the Key Account Manager and Group Commercial Manager. It is ideal for someone who is highly organised, enjoys problem solving and wants to develop a long-term career within an international commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Support
- Prepare customer quotations using supplier pricing and internal systems.
- Obtain supplier pricing and delivery information.
- Raise and process customer orders and proforma invoices.
- Maintain accurate pricing and quotation records.
- Assist with tender and quotation preparation where required.
Order & Logistics Management
- Process customer orders accurately within agreed timescales.
- Place supplier purchase orders.
- Arrange collections, shipments and courier bookings.
- Coordinate export documentation where required.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and provide updates to the International Department.
- Ensure ERP records remain accurate and up to date.
Customer Support
- Support the International Department in delivering excellent customer service.
- Prepare documentation required for customer communications.
- Assist with resolving order queries and operational issues.
- Ensure customer requests are progressed efficiently behind the scenes.
Team Support
- Provide operational support across the International Department.
- Assist with workload balancing during busy periods.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process development.
- Build knowledge of the company’s product range, suppliers and international markets.
