Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Panel Installer Roofer to join our team. This role involves installing solar panels on rooftops, ensuring structural integrity, and integrating electrical components safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with roofing and electrical systems, and the ability to work at heights in various weather conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about renewable energy and sustainable construction practices.

Duties

Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops following safety standards and technical specifications
Secure mounting brackets and frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as required
Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar panels for maximum efficiency
Assist with roof repairs or modifications necessary for solar panel installation
Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Maintain a clean and organised work site, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing, electrical work, or solar panel installation preferred
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools,
Knowledge of electrical systems and experience working with electrical components is highly desirable
Physical fitness to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
Relevant certifications or training in roofing, electrical work, or solar installation are advantageous
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction and electrical work

This role is suitable for motivated individuals eager to contribute to sustainable energy solutions while developing their skills within a dynamic team environment.

Pay: £200.00-£300.00 per day
