Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fence Installer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of fences across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry, construction, or related trades to utilise their skills in a physically active environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Measure and mark out fence lines according to project specifications
Prepare the site by clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes
Dig post holes using appropriate equipment and techniques
Install fence posts, panels, gates, and other components with precision
Ensure fences are level, secure, and meet quality standards
Repair or replace damaged fencing as required
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Maintain organisation of tools and materials on-site
Follow health and safety regulations at all times during installation activities

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or general construction is highly desirable
Familiarity with construction
Experience using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels
Competence with power tools including post drivers, drills, and cutting equipment
Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and fencing installations
Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans is a plus
Prior experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is preferred

Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
