Overview
We are seeking a professional 7.5 Ton Car Transporter Driver with a valid C1+E Trailer Licence to join our logistics team. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles using flatbed trailers across various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with delivery vehicles, and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to utilise their skills within a reputable organisation.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle with a trailer to transport vehicles between designated locations.
Load and secure vehicles onto flatbed trailers, ensuring all items are properly fastened for transit.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections prior to each journey, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to legal driving hours and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies.
Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays.
Follow all road safety laws and company procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, other road users, and cargo.

Qualifications

Valid C1+E Trailer Licence with proven experience in driving car transporters.
Previous experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is highly desirable.
Demonstrable knowledge of vehicle loading, securing loads, and safe driving practices on UK roads.
Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
Strong commitment to safety standards and compliance with transportation regulations.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues.
