Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Bartender or Bar Staff member to join our team at North Devon Yacht Club in Instow. This role is vital in ensuring our members and guests enjoy exceptional service in our lively clubhouse bar. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love engaging with people, this opportunity is perfect for you.
What you'll do
- Welcome members and guests and provide a warm, professional service
- Prepare and serve drinks, cocktails, and bar snacks
- Assist with food orders from the galley
- Handle cash and card payments accurately
- Keep the bar and galley clean, stocked, and ready for service
- Help set up and run club events and functions
What we're looking for
- A friendly, can-do attitude and good team spirit
- Reliability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events
- Aged 18 or over (required to serve alcohol)
- Cocktail-making experience
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is an advantage — if not, we'll support you to complete one
- Bar, hospitality, or food-service experience is welcome — full training is provided
- Someone willing to work weekdays and weekends, particularly Friday and Saturday evenings.
