Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
- Execute assembly tasks accurately following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Carry out welding and equipment repair as required to restore vehicle integrity
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid replacements
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
- Ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and quality standards
- Support the team with heavy lifting tasks and the handling of large or complex components
Skills
- You will have plenty of past experience (our junior / apprentice roles for 2026 have now been filled) and ideally be a qualified MOT Tester, and EV Trained to L3, if not, that’s ok - training will be made available for the right candidate. Outside of formal qualifications you should be able to complete work individually, and / or as part of a team, to a high standard, and efficiently with attention to detail.

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
