Nail Technician Job Description

Overview
An amazing opportunity for an experienced, highly skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and artistry, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Manager and Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services in a welcoming and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and offering professional advice on nail care.
Stay updated on the latest trends in nail technology and techniques to provide clients with innovative services.
Manage appointments effectively to ensure timely service delivery while maintaining quality.
Assist in supervising junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Maintain inventory of nail products and tools, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised and in good working condition.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, products, and trends.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous.
Supervising experience is preferred for those interested in team management roles.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the salon environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
