In this hands‑on role, you’ll install and commission a wide range of technologies — from audio‑visual and lighting systems to access control and structured cabling — delivering high‑quality solutions for customers across the UK.

Role Overview:
As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality installations of audio‑visual, lighting, automation, access control, and network technologies across customer sites. You’ll represent Hutchison Technologies with professionalism, technical expertise, and a strong customer‑focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Installation
- Install audio‑visual, lighting, and automation systems
- Install access control solutions including turnstiles, car park barriers, and maglocks
- Install structured cabling and network infrastructure
- Work to consistently high technical standards on every site
- Support the service team when required
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematic
Administration & Reporting
- Complete job forms, timesheets, mileage and expenses claims
- Record stock usage and manage equipment/material returns
Professional Conduct
- Maintain a professional, respectful presence on customer sites
- Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues
Customer Focus
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout each installation
- Take ownership of installation quality and customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure clarity and confidence
- Identify potential improvements or innovative solutions and escalate to your line manager
Team & Culture
- Take responsibility for mistakes and use them as opportunities to learn

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a technical or installation‑based role
- High level of technical competence+
Desirable Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Electrical qualification, or a qualification in telecommunications or audio systems
