Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Street Food Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of street food dishes in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality meals to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a flair for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience working in a busy kitchen setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to a dynamic street food experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook a diverse range of street food dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared safely, maintaining high levels of food safety and hygiene standards
Assist in the organisation of the kitchen, including stock rotation and cleanliness
Serve food promptly and efficiently to customers, ensuring excellent customer service
Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas in a clean, organised manner
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Follow all health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, ideally within a restaurant or street food environment
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced setting
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Previous kitchen or culinary experience is highly desirable
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak times
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork

This role provides an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about street food cuisine, eager to develop their culinary skills within a lively environment.

This role could also be Self Employed, with you running your own business from our Street Food Wagon.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
