Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. This role is vital in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining the high standards of our establishment. Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous, but a genuine passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills are essential. The position offers an opportunity to develop your customer service skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and managing reservations efficiently
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the host/hostess station
Assisting with guest needs throughout their visit to enhance overall experience
Handling guest complaints or concerns tactfully and professionall

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or hotel setting is preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
Knowledge of guest services standards and good phone etiquette
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
