Job Title: Trainee UPVC Window & Door Fabricaton
About the Role
Are you looking to learn a highly sought-after trade and build a long-term career? Evolution Windows is seeking a motivated and practical individual to join our production team as a Trainee UPVC Window and Door Fabricator.
No prior experience is required. We provide comprehensive, hands-on training to help you master the entire manufacturing process—from initial fabrication to high-quality paint finishing and spraying.
Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of experienced fabricators and finishing technicians, your daily duties will include:
- Fabrication & Assembly: Mastering the fundamental processes of window and door manufacturing, including cutting profiles, welding, prepping, and final assembly.
- Paint Preparation: Learning how to clean, de-grease, mask, and sand UPVC profiles to ensure a flawless, long-lasting paint bond.
- Spraying Techniques: Receiving training in the safe operation of spray guns and coating equipment to achieve an even, high-quality finish on finished products.
- Machinery & Tool Operation: Safely learning to operate specialised workshop machinery (saws, welders, routers) and standard hand tools.
- Quality Assurance: Learning to read technical drawings, checking for paint imperfections, and conducting basic inspections to ensure products meet our premium standards.
- Safety & Upkeep: Maintaining a clean, organised workspace (including the spray booth area) and strictly adhering to Health & Safety regulations, including the use of correct PPE.

- Qualifications (Desirable): Basic GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) to assist with reading production sheets.
