Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Static Security Guard to oversee and protect premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, monitor surveillance systems, and ensure the safety and security of the site. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security threats.
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Control access points by verifying identification and maintaining logs of visitors and staff.
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary.
Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or vandalism.
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with security management or emergency services when required.
Ensure all security procedures are adhered to in accordance with organisational policies and legal requirements.

Skills

Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is preferred.
Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security monitoring equipment.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergencies.
Basic first aid knowledge is highly desirable.
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to complete detailed reports accurately.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and interaction with colleagues and visitors. This position is vital for maintaining a secure environment, requiring a dedicated individual committed to safety standards and proactive security practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £13.50-£14.97 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
