Job Overview

We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities through surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and responding swiftly to incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential. Candidates must be committed to maintaining a safe environment and possess excellent observational skills.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks.
Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the site and detect suspicious behaviour.
Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing and preventing theft or vandalism.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including administering first aid if necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
Control access points by checking identification and issuing visitor passes as required.
Collaborate with local authorities or emergency services during incidents or investigations.
Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions immediately.

Experience

Previous experience in security or related fields is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV is desirable.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is beneficial.
Certification in first aid or emergency response is preferred but not mandatory; training will be available for successful candidates.
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail and proactive attitude towards safety are essential.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
