Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Paramedic to provide immediate medical assistance at various events. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and responding swiftly to medical emergencies. This role requires a professional with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure in dynamic environments. The position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to public safety while working in a fast-paced, event-driven setting.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care to individuals experiencing medical incidents during events
Assess patients through physical examinations and utilise triage techniques to prioritise care
Administer medications and injections following established protocols, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained
Perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) interventions as required
Monitor vital signs and interpret physiological data to inform treatment decisions
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments administered, and incident reports
Operate emergency vehicles safely, including driving to and from event locations with heavy lifting when necessary
Collaborate with event staff, emergency services, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and transport arrangements
Ensure all equipment is sterilised, well-maintained, and ready for immediate use at all times
Uphold strict adherence to health and safety regulations throughout all duties

Experience

Proven experience in critical care settings or hospital environments is highly desirable
Demonstrated proficiency in patient care, including physical examinations and medication administration
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques
Experience with triage procedures in high-pressure situations
Valid driving licence with a clean record suitable for emergency vehicle operation
Prior experience working at large public events or in pre-hospital emergency services is advantageous
Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or moving during shifts

This role requires a committed professional capable of delivering exceptional medical support in demanding environments. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and practical experience to ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained at all times.
