Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and passionate kitchen professional to join our culinary team. Depending on experience and skill level, the successful candidate may be appointed as a Commis Chef, Demi Chef de Partie, or Chef de Partie.
The role involves assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to the required quality and presentation standards.
- Assist with daily food preparation and mise en place.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes, specifications, and portion controls.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or quality concerns.
- Assist with stock rotation and storage procedures.
- Support senior chefs during service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials where appropriate.
- Help minimize food waste and control costs.
- Train, mentor, or support junior team members where required, depending on role level.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

- Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

We are looking for a chef that has experience within pastry, from Commis through to CDP
(Salary will vary depending on level)

Hours of work, 4 days, 48hr week - 12hr days, 3 days off Salary for Commis Chef starts at £31,750 + service charge which is estimated at around 6k but variable according to business levels.
This increases by 3% after successful probation periodLive in accommodation is available and is around £350 monthly including all utility bills.
Salary is higher for live-out staff.Higher positions salary depending on experience
