Job description
Total Metal Recovery is a scrap metal yard that has seen rapid growth over the last 12 months. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team.
Full training will be provided and a number of different avenues available after passing probation from trader to HGV driver we are able and willing to train you in all aspects of this role.
The role of Yard Operative:
· Dealing with customers
Loading and unloading vehicles
General warehouse duties
· Sorting and organising a variety of metals ensuring they match the criteria for delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring that customers are served promptly and customers are helped to weigh in their various metals.
·
Ensuring that Company procedures and policies are followed at all times.
·
Ensure that forklifts and cranes are used and maintained in an appropriate manner in line with Health & Safety Guidelines
· Work and communicate as a team member to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively.
·
Ensure the yard and warehouses are kept clean and tidy at all times in-line with Company Health & Safety Guidelines
·
Perform any other duties including stock-taking as required by the Company.
We are looking for:
Someone who is self-motivated, proactive, reliable and Enthusiastic.
You will be given full training in all aspects for the role so previous experience is in not necessary however, experience operating heavy machinery would be advantageous.
