Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Greggs Team Members specialising in sandwich preparation and customer service. As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, and providing outstanding service to our customers. This role offers an engaging environment where your culinary skills and passion for food can flourish, contributing to a welcoming and efficient store atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of sandwiches, snacks, and hot food items in accordance with company standards.
Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or drive-thru.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food preparation and serving areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management to ensure product availability.
Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service.
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a positive attitude.

Experience

Previous experience in a food preparation or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and stock management.
Experience in kitchen operations or culinary roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food service, eager to develop their skills within a dynamic retail environment while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
