The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Spare Parts operative to support day-to-day responsibility for the picking, packing, customer updates, and dispatch of spare parts across the KVM and Skako Concrete operations as well as supporting the management and control of stock. A secondary part of the role will support the distribution of concrete moulds to customers. As the new facility develops, the role is expected to grow to include the maintenance and replacement of wear parts in concrete moulds as a future responsibility.- Salary will be dependent on your experience in each of these sectors.
This is primarily a stock control, and distribution supervision role with the future potential for maintenance of concrete moulds, suited to someone who is organised, practical, customer-focused, and comfortable working with spare parts, heavy components, and workshop-related equipment and with a willingness to learn new products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise the day-to-day spare parts operation, including stock control, stock locations, order accuracy, and availability
· Pick, pack, and prepare spare parts orders for customers and internal requirements
· Book dispatch, arrange transport, and provide customers and colleagues with clear order updates
· Support the distribution of concrete moulds, including coordination of handling, loading, dispatch, and delivery requirements
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse and workshop area
· Record work completed and report stock, quality, delivery, or improvement opportunities
· Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards

What We’re Looking For
Essential
· Experience supervising or managing spare parts, stock control, warehouse, or stores operations
· Experience organising customer orders, dispatch, and transport bookings
· Strong attention to detail when checking stock, paperwork, order accuracy, and customer requirements
· Practical, hands-on approach with confidence handling heavy components and using manual handling equipment
· Good communication skills when updating customers, colleagues, and transport providers
· Basic mechanical awareness or willingness to develop knowledge of concrete moulds and wear parts
Desirable
· Experience with spare parts for concrete, manufacturing, machinery, or engineering equipment
· Experience distributing or handling concrete moulds, tooling, or heavy fabricated components
· Workshop refurbishment, rebuild, or wear-part replacement experience
· Knowledge of lifting operations such as gantry cranes
· Pallet truck or forklift experience

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
