Registry Services sits at the heart of the University, supporting students throughout their entire journey – from enrolment through to graduation, ensuring the integrity of the information that underpins everything we do. As a Registry Officer (Enrolment, Data Management and Systems), you’ll join a collaborative and customer-focused team responsible for student enrolment, student funding administration and the quality of student record data across the University. You’ll play a vital role in supporting students, colleagues and stakeholders, helping to ensure our systems and processes are accurate, efficient and compliant. You’ll work within an innovative Registry Services team that provides essential academic and student administration support across the student lifecycle, contributing directly to the delivery of an exceptional student experience. You’ll play a key role by: Supporting student enrolment processes and providing specialist administrative and systems support across the University. Working with the Student Loans Company to ensure accurate and timely registration, attendance confirmations and funding-related transactions. Managing and maintaining student record data, ensuring high standards of data quality, accuracy and compliance. Producing, analysing and interpreting data and statistical reports to support operational and strategic decision-making. Supporting the development and improvement of systems, processes and data quality controls across Registry Services. Providing expert guidance to Schools and Professional Services colleagues on enrolment processes, student records and best practice. Delivering excellent customer service by responding professionally and efficiently to student and stakeholder enquiries throughout the student lifecycle. Supporting the planning and delivery of enrolment-related activities and events, helping to ensure a smooth and positive experience for students. This is a 6 month fixed term position, from October 2026 – March 2027. What you’ll bring Using your experience with complex information systems and databases, you'll analyse data with confidence, producing accurate reports, spotting trends, and identifying opportunities to improve data quality. You’ll be an enthusiastic, friendly and highly organised team player with a passion for delivering excellent service. You’ll enjoy working with data and systems, have a keen eye for detail and be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. Additionally, you’ll bring: Excellent written, verbal and numerical communication skills. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. Good ICT skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. The ability to build effective working relationships and communicate confidently with students, academic colleagues and professional services staff. A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity. The ability to work independently, use initiative and respond professionally to changing priorities. Experience within Higher Education, knowledge of Student Loans Company processes, or familiarity with student record systems would be advantageous, but most importantly you'll share our commitment to supporting students and delivering excellent services.
