About the Role
We are looking for experienced Painters and Decorators to join our growing team in Warrington, Cheshire. This is a permanent, full-time position offering consistent local work, career progression opportunities, and the option for weekend overtime.
Sub-contractor opportunities are also available for those who prefer to work on a self-employed basis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and paint surfaces to a high standard across domestic and commercial sites.
- Carry out preparation, sanding, filling, priming, and finishing work with precision.
- Follow health and safety regulations and CSCS guidelines at all times.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver quality results within agreed timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Painting and Decorating – essential.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Proven on-site experience as a Painter and Decorator.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in high-quality work.
- Must live within 15 miles of the WA1 Warrington postcode.
Hours
- Typically Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm or 8:30am–4:30pm (some flexibility required subject to the job)
- Optional weekend overtime available.
