Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our establishment. Previous hotel experience is preferred, as you will play a vital role in ensuring that guest rooms and laundry facilities are kept to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise bedrooms, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-presented.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and garments.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways and lobbies.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day.
