As a member of the International Merchandising Team and Matalan team you will ‘think Customer’ in your day-to-day role. You'll support the International Assistant Merchandiser in optimising the customer offer, sales, availability and profitability of your area of focus. In addition, you'll be responsible for maintaining Franchise Partner relationships and producing & collating accurate information to support the team in their decision-making process. You will need to work collaboratively with our Franchise partners and key internal departments (Buying and Merchandising, Marketing, VM, Logistics) contributing to deliver agreed KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities -
- Provide support and act as a key connection between our International Partners and the wider UK business
- Support International Partner calls, including capture of decisions and actions
- Support the International Franchise buying process working to the agreed critical path by coordinating with internal Buying & Merchandising teams and International Partners to secure orders
- Own the maintenance of the International range as a key document in the buying process
- Prepare, actualise and monitor planning documentation on weekly and ad hoc basis including Intake Tracking, Option and Buy Plans, as well as other key data
- Support production of weekly/monthly International Partner sales and performance reporting
- Action International Partner stock allocations as required in line with shipment forecasts, liaising internally within the International Partnerships team and with UK stock placement
- Manage International Partner query's including logging and managing queries to resolution with relevant departments
- Support the wider International Partnership Merchandising team in ad hoc tasks to support delivery of KPI's
- Qualification in a related subject (desirable)?
- Excellent numerical skills & proficient in Microsoft packages?
- High, consistent attention to detail, always striving to deliver good quality work to key deadlines ?
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels across the business ?
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and organisational skills ?
