Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bricklayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of building and repair tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in multiple trades within a professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and construction.

Responsibilities

Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out construction and repair tasks efficiently.
Perform bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding duties as required on-site.
Assist in the installation of structures, walls, roofs, or other building components with precision and attention to detail.
Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Conduct routine inspections of work areas and materials to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bricklaying, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to construction work.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
A valid relevant qualification or certification in trades such as masonry, carpentry or welding is advantageous but not essential.
